With investment management and advisory experience of over 20 years, Lighthouse Private Wealth’s Founding Partner specializes in complex in-depth financial planning and wealth management for his clients, while playing a central role in the ongoing management and development of the firm. He has been a contributing author to Senior Life Times magazine, and has been the recipient of multiple “People’s Choice Awards” as Peterborough’s favourite financial planner.


Career Highlights

  • Lighthouse Private Wealth: In 2014, James played a central role in the evolution of the Lighthouse Wealth organization with the introduction and launch of Lighthouse Private Wealth, with a focus on complex holistic and integrated wealth management services catering to affluent Canadians and Canadian organizations.

  • Lighthouse Wealth Management: In 2005, James joined the firm as a Managing Partner and Senior Financial Planner bringing his established financial practice and clients with him. He continued in his responsibility for providing in depth financial planning and wealth management services and assumed a leadership role in the multi-advisor organization. 

  • Freedom 55 Financial: In 2000, immediately following the completion of his business degree, James became a Financial Security Advisor, building a financial advisory practice from the ground up while working within one of Canada’s leading financial services organizations.
